The Death Hilarious are dying. In roughly 30-40 years, God willing, they’ll be gone. Their one wish in what will probably be hundreds of unattainable wishes will be for you to laugh at their dark, cerebral, Welsh brand of sketch comedy. But not so hard that it’ll sound sarcastic, y’know? There’ll be Creole exorcists, apelike weirdos and a sex robot. Or none of those things at all. No apologies. No refunds.

To open the night we have born and bred Bristolian Dani Johns. Dani is described as a “smart, clever pocket rocket of a comedian” whose “sassy delivery captivates every audience member”. Dani is an instantly likable act with an impressive and increasing list of accolades (including BBC New Comedy Award, Funny Women Stage Award & Komedia Bath New Act of the Year Award).
