Laura is a traditional illustrator and printmaker specializing in hand pulled reduction lino prints. In addition to this she also paints in watercolours, acrylics and oil.

Born and bred just outside Durham, Laura has lived in Bristol for almost 25 years, and has become well known here for her quirky images particularly of animals in a human context.

Taking inspiration from the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge, she has produced a plethora of illustrations and prints from this, such as the ever popular “Sleepy Cat” and “Sleepy Sloth” on the bridge.

Bringing a hint of humour and a dash of quirkiness to the delight of her audience!

You can find Laura’s work in a few Independent shops around Bristol, including Blaze shop, which is an artists cooperative, that she co runs with fellow creatives, featuring local art. Laura also participates in the ever popular Art Trails around Bristol,

where the public can browse and purchase directly from the artists showcasing their work.

In this exhibition there is a selection of her original paintings and lino prints alongside quality giclee prints of her most popular images, all available to purchase.”
