Join Man at Sea and Boci for a special summer show on the beautiful Grain Barge

A great opportunity to catch these local singer-songwriters as they share their latest releases.

Man at Sea is a singer-songwriter in the classic sense.

Well-crafted songs reminiscent of Rufus Wainwright or solo Thom Yorke, this is sophisticated songwriting that weaves melody with lyric, taking cues from the great songwriters. His background in theatre is never far away, his songs often telling stories about the strange parts of life and the human condition.
Showcasing new material from his forthcoming debut album, this will be an opportunity to hear his sound as it evolves, complete with full band on stage!

Support comes from the brilliantly mesmeric Boci

Boci is a Bristol based violinist and songwriter creating dreamfolk pop. Her use of violin loops, synths and effects pedals allows her to create cinematic, layered textures which evolve into dynamic full band arrangements. Her most recent album ‘scenes from uniXia’ steps into a bold, maximalist musical vision set in a faraway world. Tracing a journey through different parts of the magical uniXia, boci uses the expansive terrain to explore her own emotional landscape in a way that’s both intimate and playful.
