A selection of papercut works by Rosalind Jane (Genki Club), made between 2025 and 2026 with a focus on treasured places and vistas. Starting with the view from her window looking out to train tracks and the painted houses of Totterdown, to a ‘glaring’ of cats in a Yokohama neighbourhood 6000 miles away. Rosalind’s compositions are made by cutting and sticking coloured paper, layer by layer, with some elements being so small that they require tweezers to be put into place. The resulting pictures are colourful, playful and tactile, with many small details that draw the viewer in for a closer look.
