Rob Carmier is a Bristol-based photographer and videographer.
Rob has spent much of the last eight years working with clients across the hospitality, charity and live music industries, where he’s filmed and photographed a wide variety of artists for various online outlets, from chart-toppers and festival headliners to local heroes. To this, the calm and contemplative world of nature photography provides something of a perfect antithesis.
Like a lot of wildlife enthusiasts, he’s spent countless hours wandering over fields, sitting in ditches and crouching in the undergrowth, often for no apparent reason. However, sometimes, just sometimes, patience pays off and something exciting makes an appearance. These photographs highlight just a few of Rob’s favourite moments and encounters, with the hope that you’ll get some enjoyment from them too. Rob has previously worked on commission for the RSPB, providing photography for national campaigns and contributing to the RSPB image library, whilst also volunteering as a publicity officer for the charity’s Bristol Local Group.
